Italy Sonum H2O Evolution II Microphone Preamplifier模組須搭配API 500系列的模組基座使用，因此在Mic Pre擴充、組合、置換上非常便利，同時確保有專業一流的聲音特色。 Sonum H2O Evolution II Microphone Preamplifier在設計上採用的是discrete-component Class A設計，同時具有Mic Preamplifier以及DI的功能，並且提供了Mic Level、Line Level以及Hign Impedance等輸入選擇，滿足自40、50年代以來至今各式專業與半專業設備輸入阻抗的批配。
Sonum H2O Evolution II Microphone Preamplifier格外適合Artist的樂器solo、Vocal Tracking以及需要透過麥克風選擇來做音色調控的各式收音需求(因為Mic Pre低音染、高原音重現的特色)。
